HERO'S TO ME

They are fathers, mothers, daughters and sons.
Into danger each day they will run.
They work to keep us safe and free
In places most don't even want to see
Some are hurt and some will die
To keep us free and safe, you and I.
For little glory and little pay,
They put their lives on the line every day.
Be it a policeman or fireman in the next lane,
Or a soldier or sailor on the ground, in a ship or plane.
There's not much I can do or say
Except please God keep them safe every day
These are men and women of honor
Our soldiers, sailors and first responders.
And with this I hope you see
They are all hero's to me
