New his and hers...

Wife has decided it is time to pursue getting her CHL. She is a good shot, has a home defense gun, but just not CHL. The recent incident at our home has made her speed up her getting of her CHL. She had thought about using our Taurus TCP, as she could rack it ok. I have the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380. I really feel partners need matching guns to exchange ammo and magazine in a fight. We were at the gun shop and I saw the Sig p238. Looked at it, showed it to my wife and she said "Oh that's nice." The she racked it... very easy. We left but talked about it, and decided she did want it..which meant I needed one if I was going to keep to my theory of matching. She has the basic 2-tone, I now have the SAS (melt job). Guys, I have had the P3AT, LCP, TCP, BG 380..each a step above the other in some ways...but THESE shoot and handle NOTHING like the others. Of course it is a single action only (not ~thrilled~ about that) but shoots tight groups at much farther distances. Much less recoil and quieter. (BTW, BG 380 is the only one in the lineup that has a second strike capability... it IS a nice feature... were it not for wanting matching, I would keep the BG as my carry really). Needless to say, I am now broke
