just curious to see how many people conceal or have concealed an M&P 45 compact, as i am looking to purchase one as my CCW. Wanted to know the pluses and minuses of the M&P 45c. Thanks in advance for any advice and helpful replies given.

P.S. im about 5' 10" and 270ish pounds, yes i know a bit on the big side. i also want to carry IWB at the 7-9 o'clock position.

I carried one for a while (at the 4 o’clock position). I didn’t really have any problem with it but it did feel a little bulky to me…not surprising as my long term carry was a Glock 26. I got a Para 12.45 and it was much more comfortable to carry for me so I sold the M&P. I did really like the M&P and would not hesitate to recommend it, I just preferred the Para a little more.

I occasionally carry my full-size M&P45 in a Comp Tac MTAC. No problems with it except at 4.5-inch barrel it's just a hair too long for maximum comfort (my M&P9 with 4.25-inch barrel carries more comfortably - go figure). The extra thickness of the 45 is almost unnoticeable compared to the 9mm M&P or any of my Glocks.

M&P45C should be no problem - about same size as the Glock 23 I carried as primary for more than a decade - and that was before all these fancy new "hybrid" IWB holsters all you young whipper snappers use today

I conceal my full-sized M&P45 in an OWB holster also, as well as with a shoulder holster. The "difficulty" of concealing full sized semi-autos is overrated.

I am carrying today & do pretty regular now. XD45 Compact. Carry it in a Tucker HF1 on a Tucker belt. Beltman belt will work just as good for less but I got it CHEAP. It goes away under anything.

I carry one (45 C). In a Milt Sparks holster, it is extremely comfortable for all day wear. I have carried it in a comptac and it works but just is not as comfortable to wear. You may have to get something to use while waiting on the Milt Sparks.

How does the m&p 45c shoot? I've gotten to like the 45acp, but really only shot it in full-size

Recently got my wife the m&p9c, and really thought about getting my self one in 45

My primary carry is an M&P 45c in a comp-tac Minotour. Comfortable enough but a little bulky. Shoots great. No issues.

It's us skinny guys that have trouble! You'd have no trouble with a good holster and a baggy shirt.
