Just sayin... but if I got stabbed with that blade, I wouldn't be worried about the .22 round getting shot in as well. The Blade's more than enough.

I think you have it backwards.
I would use the 22 first (Longer range) and if the person were dumb enough to keep coming I could use the knife as backup.

As a modern version, maybe someone should make a single-shot 12ga with a bayonet mount,
or I suppose there's always DIY with a kitchen knife and hose clamps (or duct tape.)

I like the fact that the newer knives are made in .45 ACP with sleeves that can change caliber down to .380. I have no idea as to how this knife functions as a shooter, but I can imagine that it is a bit awkward to aim and control with a larger caliber. It's just point and shoot, as I don't see any sights to speak of.
It's not a bad idea for a dispatch weapon while hunting, and as a one shot defense for a hunter/camper. At 12 inches OAL and 20oz. I wouldn't think to carry this as a CCW myself. It would be easier for me to just pack my Glock and a couple of spare mags than trying to conceal this knife.
If I had the chance, I'd buy one just to have it. There's nothing wrong with the idea, and I can see it as a functional tool for use on a limited basis. I'd like to see one of these in .410 for taking care of snakes while hunting/camping. Just my .02 at least

I think those were evidence photos from Sheriff's department that confiscated the knife found on a felon. At least that is what was on the original PowerPoint that I got from a buddy where I first found out about the knife.

I read a review that said you have to manually extract the spent case by hand, or with the use of some type of a ramrod. It seems like a simple extractor would at least be incorporated into the design to make grabbing the spent case easier.
