I am not buying huge quantities, so Cabela's is out because the gasoline used to get there will cost $15.00. Also, mail order is out due to shipping costs and ammo is heavy so shipping costs will be high.
So, where is the cheapest 00 buckshot and slugs in the DFW area? Thanks.

Not in the DFW area, and I dont have price comparisons, but I bought a box of 15 Winchester 00 buck at Walmart for $9.97.

If you just want SOME and not a stock pile then Wally World would be your best bet for a box or two and not get gouged.

Walmart, hands down. 15 round value packs of 00 2 3/4" 12ga buck for like $9 last time I was in there. Fixin to clean the one near me out of .45 WWB and 12ga buck.

They keep it in the case behind the counter, along with the handgun and rifle ammo. You have to ask the people in the sporting goods section to get it for you.

My mistake, it was $10.47 for the 15 round value pack at the Walmart in Pearland. Paid $32.97 for a 100 pack of WWB .45, (snagged two boxes=200 rounds).

Hmmm... I never see any 00 buck at Walmart. Plenty of .40 S&W and occasionally 9mm, but never 380 nor 00 buck. Maybe I have to go to several Walmarts.... I hate Walmart, BTW, for shutting down gun sales in Louisiana after Katrina and shutting down gun sales in all urban Walmarts, in agreement with mayor Bloomberg. Ugh. I think I'll give Dick's sporting goods a try, then Academy, then Walmart. I'll report back with a price comparison.
