Coyote LCP

As of 7:30pm on Friday night, the Katy, Texas Academy has a Coyote Special LCP :txflag: in their display case. $359 I just could not figure out a good enough excuse for the "little woman" to buy it. :

That's a good price for the Coyote LCP I got mine from a Store on Gunbrokers.com cheapest one there I might add and by the time it all was said & done what with FFL fee's it cost me a little over $500.00 for that little $269.00 gun. Buuut, it has the decoration on it and I really wanted it , badly. That is the only difference in a Coyote and the regular LCP, the markings. I have never shot this gun and really never will carry it for fear the "deocration" might rub off. I have already sweated the blue off the slide, slide lock lever on 2 other's (hubs has reblued them for me a couple of times DRAT this TX heat) so not going to chance it with my most prized possession: Coyote Special

It was still there last night. The Academy on 59 near Kirby also had one an hour ago. How many of these did Ruger make?

I've been looking for one too. I even made myself a coyote holster for it. Sounds like I need to check Academy. Congrats on finding it.

I saw one at Sportsmans Finest out in Bee Cave a few weeks ago in that price range.

This isn't very current information but a week or 2 back,
the Lewisville (Denton County) Academy had one of these.
IIRC, $359. Not too bad for a future collectible.

That's what I was thinking. These have been available for a couple months. At least two Academy stores in the Houston area still have one or more in stock, so either they're not selling well, or the production run wasn't very limited.

Is it bad to want one even if I don't really like Perry very much? Not that I won't vote for him given the options - just don't like him at all. But I still want one ...

I'd say it's probably not much worse than not liking some other person who has owned and shot a gun of similar likeness to one you own or want to own. Just my thoughts though, ymmv.
