Rubber Buck for the Judge

Say what? Warnings?

"Our main premise for this line was giving shooters a choice. For example, a Taurus Judge loaded w/ 2 rubber buck followed by 3 lead loads gives the shooter a chance to send a painful warning. If those warnings are not heeded, then you have shown the intruders intention if the lead comes into play."

All I can imagine is one of the bouncing off a wall and coming back hitting the shooter....

Also, if someone breaks into my house they don't get any warnings. The door/window being locked was their warning

I am thinking of folks pushing for all weapons to have these in the chamber or magazine for "warning" shots...
I am thinking of liability for not having fired one of these first...
I am crawling under my desk and refusing to think about this anymore...

Discharging a firearm is discharging a firearm, regardless of what comes out of the barrel. If you think you need to pull the trigger, then "warning shots" should not be on your mind. IANAL.

Plus, rubber buck shot from a shotgun can be lethal fired point blank, and again anything other than point blank shooting makes me wonder about the shoot... :leaving

My whole point is the idea of the "Anti's" getting ahold of this "idea" and trying to run with it...

Agreed. The anti's will find SOMETHING to complain about anyway. No need to give them ammunition (rimshot)

Less than lethal ammo is usually used for crown control when lethality is not desired in the first place. Like a riot, prison outbreak, or a suicide situation where they just want to render the victim incapacitated not dead. I agree if someone breaks into my home the door being locked and the fact they don't live their is the warning. They are getting hot lead not rubber from me. No warning shot, no hey buddy are you sure you got the right house, no please leave. Just by! :fire

If that happens, just shoot them first, then reload a couple of rubber ones and hit them with that!:

Best comment in the blog post.
I will soon be marketing a cartridge for the Judge that fires gum balls. After all, no one can resist a delicious piece of candy.
BTW, police have shot leftist anti-war protestors with rubber bullets, and they were sued for hurting the poor souls. So the antis already have their line of attack for rubber.

This isn't something you have to worry about in Texas. The castle doctrine gives you the right to shoot the intruder, no questions asked, no liability attached. Maybe Chicago will allow citizens to have guns in their homes now, so long as they carry rubber bullets.

I think I might load one gun with rubber bullets just for the burglar who comes at me with a rubber knife. :headscratch
