What if I bought a $300 gun from a gun show, then I catch them at the next gun show and want to trade in the gun I bought for a similar one... Will that difference be like me $50? $100? $200? Let's just say the price of the second gun is the same.

If you haven't fired it, and it is in new condition like you bought it, a good dealer would give you full purchase price credit toward a new gun from him.

If you've fired it, expect at least a $50-100 hit

If you trade UP, your dealer may eat the $50, but not give you a discount on the new gun.

Your experiences may vary

I've fired about 100 rounds or so.

I think there's a Fort Worth show in a week or two. Take it in and find out what they will do for you. With all the money you have in that holster I can't believe your thinking about getting rid of your gun  :smilelol5:

What you get will also depend on the popularity and availability of the gun. A while ago when Kel Tec P3AT's were in short supply I had several offers of almost what I paid for mine. It all comes down to supply and demand.
