lack of brains
PHOENIX— Authorities said a Surprise man has been arrested on suspicion of endangerment when the gun he was carrying discharged inside a Walmart in El Mirage. El Mirage police said the 30-year-old man entered the store around 1 a.m. Thursday and witnesses said he repeatedly fidgeted with a holstered semi-automatic pistol.
When he went to a counter to pay for a video game, witnesses said he removed the gun from the holster _ causing the magazine to come loose and fall to the floor. They said he reinserted the magazine and continued manipulating the gun when it fired, sending one bullet into the ceiling.
Police said no injuries were reported. He was booked into the downtown Phoenix jail on six counts of endangerment and firing a weapon in city limits.

I wonder if this was theatrics this was one of the comments made by the opposition to open carry bill that just passed in AZ about having more AD since untrained people could now carry openly.

Re: lack of brains
I wonder what kind of laws surround open carry out there? For instance, are you allowed to have the gun out like that? The guy is a complete retard. Makes me wonder why someone didn't slap him out. Oh yeah... he had a gun

Unlicensed open carry has been legal in AZ for a long time.suthdj wrote:I wonder if this was theatrics this was one of the comments made by the opposition to open carry bill that just passed in AZ about having more AD since untrained people could now carry openly.

Re: lack of brains
Why would a guy buy a video game, be fidgety, and pull a gun out at 1 AM?? Sounds like he intended to rob the place and chickened out.

Re: lack of brains
I think AZ is in the process of allowing unlicensed concealed carry as well.
