Alternative .22LR conversion kit magazine to Kimber

#1

Post by chongfa »

I have bought a kimber .22LR conversion kit for my 1911. So far it works fine, except for the stinking kimber magazine. Are there an alternative to the kimber magazine for the kit? If there are, would someone please tell me where to get it? Thanks

There shouldn't be any problem with the Kimber 22 mag. I have 3 and all have worked perfectly. I'd call Kimber monday if I were you.

I am sure the Kimber is a Ciener with Kimber's name on it, I would check with them first, I have 6 mags and like HV's they all work. What are yours doing wrong.

this post remind's me that I need to send mine back and have them converted from 10's to 15's.

I had mine on the MK IV 70 but now its on the XSE, It makes either one my favorite gun.

I'm not sure who makes the kits for Kimber but I don't think Ciener makes the mags.

Converted from 10 to 15 rounds?! Looks like I'll be making my own call to Kimber.
