STI Elektra

#1

Post by TLynnHughes »

So, I'm reading my IDPA Tactical Journal magazine that came in the mail today and lo and behold, my eyes fall upon a really gorgeous site.

I'm thinking this would make a really good 50th birthday present. Does anyone have any knowledge of these that they want to share?

It's a good looking gun. I've seen too many problems with the mini "1911" pistols to ever want one though.

For a lot of husbands, the correct answer would be, "I get the hint...so I'll go ahead and buy one now, but do you want it early or shall I put it in the safe for 29 years until you reach the 50 year mark, sweetie?" :smilelol5:

I just want to be 50... again!

Mrs. RiverRat needs one, too. I could hold it till she gets to 50. It will be a long time. She just had her 21st anniversary of being 29.

I didn't see any mention about purple grips, though.

I know, dangit! They had pink ones. :nono: I like the black though...it looks classy. And williamkevin and I were talking about how nice it would look inside a purple and black holster. ;-)

STI does a lot of custom jobs. On the website, you design the gun, pretty sweet. It's the gun that the Company uses in Heroes

STI does beautiful work.
