Ohhh man... I want, no I NEEEED to come down there for this someday. Looks very relaxing and fun.

Can I shoot my Swiss K31? I bought it about a year ago and haven't even cleaned off the cosmo. This looks like a perfect application for it. I've got a Turkish Mauser made in 1940 also. It's REALLY covered with cosmo.

What's the story on the 22lr shooting? Is that part of the competition or is that just for fun?

BTW, I saw you in the vid a few times and your name on the score sheet as well.

The 22 rifle shoot is held after the main competition. The same rules apply with the exception of distance. I believe the targets are a bit closer, but I have never competed in this. I think I might give it a shot this month....you miss a few shots and those guys bury you in the .22 shoot  I believe that it commonly yields scores of master and high master.

Get down here and shoot! It sounds like both of those rifles would fit the bill. IF you are interested I will try to get the rules and regs and shoot them over to you. I think I have a soft copy of them somewhere. It is a relaxing pace and great people to visit with. Take care.
