By far the best show for a long time coming from Pasadena. Both Bachman and AJC was there. Prices were decent, but what's interesting was that I saw a bunch of cool stuff there. This including a Barrett M82A1. Go check it out if you haven't already.

Nope, I'll be in California where they don't let you carry guns.

I was able to attend the show on Sunday...the show was packed! It was not much different than the last hundred shows, but I was able to hook up with T.R. Graham and have some work done on my 17 and 26....I am very pleased with what he did!
I am really glad to see the show getting that much support with it being so far from hunting season. It was hard to walk down some of the isles. I will not be able to make the George R. Brown show this weekend...but plan to visit the shop that someone featured in another thread located in Austin. Take care.

I made it on Sat and you're right it was packed, which is a good thing.

I'm sure that everyone has noticed the price of ammo going up, but has anyone noticed the price of guns going up?

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a cheap AK (WASR) and earlier in the year they were around $200, on Sat I didn't see any new ones for under $350. Unless I missed them.

Everything has gone up! I went to two different Wally Worlds to find some WWB 9mm, but they were all out! So I gave up and went to Academy to buy a Megapack (250rds). It was $35 for the 250rds vs. $26 6 months ago. Now I'm just kicking myself for not buying any ammo while I was at the show.

I frequently shop at two different Wally Worlds, both have been out of WWB in 9mm for two weeks now. Somehow I suspect a price increase is comming.

Always check out the ammo dealers at gun shows. They often have some really good prices.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
