Getting into a lot of shootouts......

#1

Post by too-tall »

Hey folks,
I was watching a Steven Segal movie the other day and I got to thinking.
Does ANYONE except military persoel EVER get into as many shootouts as on tv?
While I know this is hollywood, are there any cops or whatever that see this much action? Have no remorse for killing someone?
I was just wondering........................

I've heard that the U.S. Border Patrol gets into a lot of gunfights. From what I remember reading about him, Bill Jordan got into several while with the Border Patrol.

Steve Seagal movies always crack me up. I don't think anyone gets into more hand to hand fights and/or gun fights than him.

one of our detectives was shot by an officer in another agency. funny thing is, the officer that shot him had been in like 6 or 7 shoots before. i think there are a couple cops out there that are very quick to pull the trigger and have been lucky enough to be in that gray area that gives them the benefit of the doubt.

Can you imagine the ammount of Paper Work or the endless hours spent in Grand Jury Rooms.

 I have to say I'm really curious if the shooter was from a federal agency...

uniform patrol for a large city. our detective was in plain clothes carrying his radio looking for a robbery suspect in a field. this patrol officer from the other agency came to assist. when he saw the detective, no "drop the radio," nothing. he just shot him. luckily, he wasn't very good because he hit him in the leg.
