I prefer a striker fired 9mm pistol. Looking for something like a smaller kimber (ultra or aegis) but striker fired. That is, metal body and quality made. I currently carry an LCP and Taurus 709, but love the feel of a more substantial piece for carry. I don't need a full sized, have those for home defense, but looking for concealed carry.
Any suggestions would be appreciated (besides make my own, lol)

Re: Gun Suggestion
I'm not sure what your price range is...that has a considerable impact on the suggestions. If you're like me, without much discretionary funds to spend on guns right now, I'm looking at a Bersa Ultra-Compact .45 or 9mm in nickel.

EDIT: It's a hammer-fired gun...I just re-read your OP. I'm not sure about any all-metal striker-fired guns. I currently carry an XD-40 that I highly recommend, but it has a poly base. It is a substantially solid and reliable weapon though.

Re: Gun Suggestion
No doubt Bersa is a good gun. I have considered the XD. I currently have a Taurus 24/7 that is along that line. I absolutely love the feel of the smaller Kimbers in my hand, BUT I'm afraid that there is too much to catch on clothing in a concealed carry situation. Maybe not, but that's my fear. Too, I like the double-strike ability of the striker fired.pdubyoo wrote:I'm not sure what your price range is...that has a considerable impact on the suggestions. Thanks and good luck on getting your Bersa!

Re: Gun Suggestion
There are very few striker fired small pistol with steel body. May I ask the reason why you must choose this configuration? It severely limits your number of choices.

Re: Gun Suggestion
They aren't striker fired, but you might take a look at a CZ 75 compact or CZ P-01.
