Does anyone have or carry one of these? I'm in the market for a new carry weapon and I've noticed not many people have or carry the sub compact version of the PX4. So far I've been looking at the XD sub compact, Maybe a sig p229 compact-this one is a bit out of the price range, I'd like to stay around 500 to 600 dollars. Can't be a Glock they don't feel comfortable in my hand. Any other suggestions for a new carry piece?
Nick

I just bought a Kahr CW40 for $500 inc/tax. It's a 40 cal auto that weighs right at 19ozs fully loaded. 6 plus one on the tube.
Suprisingly it's not too recoil heavy and my very first shot was in the 10 at 15 yards. If you go this way go to Kahr's website to view their assembly/disassembly video. Good luck!

I would look at a CZ75 compact, CZ RAMI, or Taurus has a new very slim 9mm pistol out that looks very easy to conceal. The compact PX4 is so beffy looking but it doesn't look easy to conceal at all because of its girth.

I am interested in this PX4 SC. Once funds are available, I am picking one. Should cost your some $500 and change.

I do not own one, but two of my friends own and carry them. I have never been a big Beretta fan - I really do not like shooting the 92FS. I shot both of their PX4 Subcompacts a couple of times and I am really impressed with how well they shoot. The grip is a little short for my hand, but I can still shoot it very accurately. Having a 13 round magazine is a definite advantage. Both of their guns have been very reliable. Neither gun has any problems with misfires or failure to feed. In fact, I have considered buying one. The only downside I see is that I haven't seen anyone make custom holsters for them yet.

I trust Crossfire's advice, but I have never even handled an M&P compact, so I can't offer any firsthand knowledge.

I've had mine for a little over 6 months now and absolutely love it. I use a Crossbreed Supertuck (IWB) that fits perfectly at the 4 o'clock position. I'm not quite as accurate with it as I am with my fullsize PX4, but my wife actually shoots the subcompact better. Shorter sight radius and grip take some getting used to at first but I have no problems hitting what I'm aiming for. It's beefy enough to be comfortable to shoot yet small enough to conceal easily. I've put about 700 rounds through it with no problems at all. They are sometimes a little difficult to find but well worth the effort.

Spotted one at my local gun shop today, needless to say it's been put on lay-a-way...still need my DL to come in with my new address. Guy at the shop said it has to be updated to purchase. So I put the money down I needed to hold it for a month and now I play the waiting game. New CHL came within a week now just waiting for the DL..
Thanks for the replies, now I need to look into a holster for it.
