Handgun suggestion

I'm looking for a new handgun. Selling off a few that I didn't like or use.
Intended use, ccw, plates, and just plain fun.
Here's what I've already tried:(and didn't care for)
J frames
1911 Off.
P7
Sig 226, 228
Walther P99
Taurus PT92
3913
Not a big fan of double-action autos.
I have G17 and a CZ75SA.
I like 9mm's.
A good HP is on the possible list. Maybe an XD, but that's close to a Glock.
I'm also left-handed, so if it has safeties, it needs to be ambidextrous.
Ideal gun for me would be a 9mm LWT Commander or an alloy framed CZ75SA Compact. Para P13 in 9mm?
Suggestions, with backup arguments.
Please don't look at this post as a WTB offer. I'm asking for suggestions of pistols I may be overlooking.

It didn't make your list but I'd suggest you look at the Smith and Wesson M&P in 9mm. It is completely ambidexterous and works very well. It is worth the look.

I am also a South Paw. I fell in love with my Desert Eagle Sub compact. It is a SA/DA with a amby slide safety. I carry it chambered safely off in DA mode. The "Baby Eagle" come is 2 or 3 size combo's but I liked the very smallest in .40S&W I feel very secure carrying it in my limited time doing so.
I use a Fobus Paddle Holster.
So far so good.

For CCW you may want to consider HK P2000 or even P2000SK.

I'll place a vote for the SA XD-9 Service (4").
Tiz what I have, and I really like it.

+1 on the XD-9 4" my two favorite carry pieces are my XD and my S&W 3913.

I definitely think you are missing a Smith or Ruger 4" revolver from your list! Might I suggest an old Model 10, they are hard to beat!

I carry a P2000.. great gun and I'm left-handed so the left side mag/slide release is great...

I have a Ruger pk97 with safety. Its amby both with the safety and the mag release. So far it goes bang with everything I have fed it. It's American made which is important to me.

Very nice pistol. Slide and Mag. release both ambi.
Reasonable trigger pull, short reset, 13 + rounds in 9mm (only 1 less in .40).
Can be had in three different trigger configurations including the CDA/LEM (DAO no manual safety).
Interchangeable back straps, magazine disconnect is optional (not forced on you).
I am looking hard at this pistol for my daughter when she gets her CHL next June. We'll have to go "get one in hand" and see if she likes it. It certainly has a lot of good features IMO.

Walther P99. I would talk about it but its not a XD,Glock,1911, or Nike Air Jordan so I wont waste my time. Would get it a shot though. Great gun.
