Carjacking Suspects In Custody

HOUSTON -- The bodies believed to be a missing 23-year-old woman and 17-year-old boy were found Friday afternoon, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Maria Chrisalee Aparece and Huy Ngo were last seen Sunday night before they were apparently carjacked.
Officials said a person arrested Friday led them to two bodies in a dense field in the 10400 of Gateway Drive near Deutser in northeast Houston. Investigators said the bodies had been there for at least two days.
"The medical examiner is going to conduct an autopsy and determine the manner and cause of death," a Houston police officer said.
Aparece was last seen on Sunday at 1 a.m. when she left her family's home and drove to Houston to return keys to Ngo.
Officials said foul play was involved in the couple's disappearance.
The car that Aparece was driving was recovered on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. at an Humble apartment complex. Four people were arrested as suspects in the carjacking of the couple.
Officials said the suspects admitted to using the car in a crime spree but said they left Aparece and Ngo safely on the side of the road.
Investigators said Aparece's credit and debit cards were used at several locations after her disappearance, including gas stations and restaurants.
Additional arrest warrants were issued Friday and more arrests are expected.
Investigators said Aparece's vehicle was used in a home invasion and aggravated assaults.
Families Devastated
The victims' families and friends learned of the recovery of the bodies at a command center set up in northwest Houston by Texas EquuSearch.
Searchers were going door-to-door handing out fliers asking for information when they were told the search was over.
"It's such a great family. There's so much love here, and it doesn't make it any easier even though you kind of know in the beginning what the results are probably going to be. We understand they were found together," said Tim Miller with EquuSearch.
Christine Aparece wished she had made up with her sister. They were not speaking when Chrisalee disappeared.
"(I want to) tell her that I love her and that I'm always here for her, and I regret everything right now," Christine Aparece said.
