Colt 45 Revolver...
I saw a very clean chrome ( or is it nickel plated) w/ gold plated trigger and hammer Colt 45 Revolver in a local Pawn shop. I believe it's a five inch barrel and aside from the serial #, it has 6749 and 9449 on it.I have tried a google search on it but can't find any info... Anybody knows anything about this gun and possibly a price check??? I have no plans to shoot 45 longs but I thought it would be a safe queen if the price is right. IThey are asking $400.00 for it..

If it actually has the prancing pony logo, it should be worth a lot more than $400. Are you sure it wasn't a knock-off?
If it's a real Colt, it would be stainless steel.

Yes it has a logo on one side but barely visible ( called store ) because of the refinishing or rechrome..Thanks for the info and I will research some more..seamusTX wrote:If it actually has the prancing pony logo, it should be worth a lot more than $400. Are you sure it wasn't a knock-off?
