Legal ammo in TX

Is LEO ammo such as Federal Hydra Shok 9mm+p+ 124gr HP OK to carry and use in Texas?

I don't know what all of this means, but I am confident that no ammunition that I can buy at a retail store is illegal.PC §46.01(12) "Armor-piercing ammunition" means handgun ammunition that is designed primarily for the purpose of penetrating metal or body armor and to be used principally in pistols and revolvers.
PC §46.05. PROHIBITED WEAPONS. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells:
(7) armor-piercing ammunition;

The "LEO ONLY" ammo is a marketing gimmick by the ammo manufacture, and usually by agreement from some stores that won't sell it.

Not just +p, but +p+.
