If I go, it'll be Sunday afternoon. Many projects going on around the house, so I may not make it. I have been hanging on to some cash from a 1911 I recently sold, so I am considering a compact 1911 or a Kahr PM9 purchase. AJC Sports has the best deals on PM9's. Anyone know a good Springfield dealer at this show?

I almost bought that Karh PM9 at the G.R.Brown show a couple of weeks ago but I found a Kel-Tec 9mm at Brownells ( I think) and fell in love. It is the smallest 9mm I have ever seen. It actually fits completly in my back pocket. It;s DAO but shoots real nice. Might take a look at it, I paid $218.00 for it.

It was on the list for tomorrow, but renewal class for CHL will take that slot. And, I spent my allowance on a new HAM radio anyway, so I would not be allowed to spend any money........

Sunday afternoon. Don't own a pistol in .40 S&W. Might need to remedy that.

Be sure to pickup a 12-round (formerly LEO) flush fitting magazine for your P-11. This magazine is the same size as the 10 rounder but has a different follower and spring. Brock Pfund adversary13@adelphia.net usually has some in stock at a good price or you can call Kel-Tec 800-515-9983 and specify the 12 round magazine.

Kel-Tec doesn’t advertise the 12-rounders even on the P-11 accessory page. I guess they are afraid they would need to change the name from P-11 to P-13

I suspect the 12-rounder was a by-product of the introduction of the P-40 (and .357 conversion) as the magazine design was introduced at that time. It didn’t take much imagination to see this new follower and stronger spring could be put in a 9mm tube giving two extra rounds. This was of course illegal for anyone but LEOs under the Clinton gun ban until it’s expiration.

I’ve seen a dozen threads on various Kel-Tec Forums on how to fix a rattling magazine but I’ve never tried it. I have a big box of P-11 magazines, so the ones that rattle become range only. Kel-Tec will actually replace magazines that rattle, so when you get your 12-rounders you can ship the rattlers back or try one of those fixes
