Where ot buy ammo
I have been buying Winchester White box FMJ .40S&W and .45 for pratice ammo. If I buy in 500/1000 rounds at a time is there better pricing online anywhere? I don't mind changing brands either.
I've found Walmart and Academy stores have pretty good prices for the ammo you are looking for.
For my other ammo needs, I usually buy from one of these places:

I buy 115 grain 9mm WWB in boxes of 50 at the local Walmart for $4.68 each. They have the Value pack with 100 rounds for $11.98. Two boxes of 50 comes out cheaper. Go figure.
Academy has the same 50 round box like $5.84. The clerk told me they will price-match Walmart as long as it wasn't a clearance price.

Yea, I just found out today. I was looking for gun bags then started looking at ammo. The guy was trying to sell me some WWB and I said it's $4.86 at Walmart. He said all they would have to do is call Walmart or I bring an ad. I told him I still have 6 boxes at home and will keep him in mind in case Walmart runs out again.

Don't worry about hunting an ad or calling/ Just keep a receipt & they will honor that.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.
