Time to help a member?
I hate to see Carlson1 selling his "kids" to pay for ticker repair.
I don't have $800.00 for a new gun right now but I do have some money
to donate to a good cause!!! WHAT SAY YEE.
Someone set it up and let's get the ball rolling!

These Pretzels are making me thirsty!

Okay folks, I like Cosmo 9's suggestion, but I don't want to post any details in an open forum that everyone with an Internet connection can see. If you feel you can help, please send me a PM and I'll give you the details of his need at this time. The financial requirements are not as large as you might expect, but time is critical.
Regards,
Chas.

jbird had a good idea. I am not out of work like ghentry but have not had a real job since the foundry here sold to new owner. Only one holster in my dead box so I don't have much that I don't use all the time. Went through everything this morning & this is what I have in order of usefulness & value.
1 - Hogue rubber grips w/ finger grooves (backstrap not covered) for 1911 officer mdl. No pac but like new.
1 - 6 rd after market mag for officers mdl. Plenty range worthy.
with these I will send a new .45 Outers bronze cleaning brush yet unopened from the kit.
Will pac it all in hand cut .45 patches. Never got over having nothin when we were kids & bore snakes are not new. Then we called them gun cleaning rags.
PM me w/ your address & what you have sent to Carlson & I will ship to you.

Answering PM's and making sure I don't leave anyone out is asking a lot of an old man, so I've set up a new private area only visible to and accessible by people who have sent a PM wanting to help. I'm not trying to be secretive, but it's not right to put confidential information on an open forum so anyone with an Internet connection can read it.
If anyone wants to help, just send me a PM and I'll add your login to the private list and you'll be able to keep up with updates, get information, etc. If you've already sent a PM, you don't need to send another - you are already in!
Thanks,
Chas.
