"Police: Woman Shoots Ex-Boyfriend In Self-Defense
Woman Claims Man Threw Knife At Her

POSTED: 10:26 am CDT May 1, 2006

HOUSTON -- A woman was accused Monday of shooting her ex-boyfriend in self-defense, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Officers said the man showed up at the woman's home in the 2300 block of West Tidwell at Rosslyn at about 10:30 p.m.

A fight ensued and the woman said the man went to the kitchen, got a knife and threw it at her, according to authorities.

She then picked up a gun and shot him in the abdomen, police said.

He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital in stable condition.

Police said the shooting appeared to be self-defense.

No names were released. "

She should have aimed a bit lower. This guy needs to be removed from the gene pool. :grin:

Ironically, this probably resulted in him going under the knife. :???:

I heard a rumor...yuk yuk...

That DPS is going to make a gender specific CHL target for women...

I heard they can get 10 points for hitting something...I don't know what that would be, but they seem pleased to make this change...

I certainly hope not. It can't help but give new meaning to the saying: "keep 'em in the 10 ring".
