Come out and shoot at the Texas City Range Saturday April 15

What do ya'll think? Should we get as many of us together as we can down at the Texas City range on Saturday April 15th.

guys, we have to first find out if the range is open that day.....it is city operated and that is the weekend of Easter! I will try to find out ASAP but they are not open until tomorrow. Tom, do you have any clue if they are open? Take care. If they are open....I would not miss it!

For the first time in years the TC range is to be open on Easter weekend, I didn't set up a class for that weekend so I will show up Saturday to shoot and shoot the bull.
Bring your shotgun and we'll murder a bunch of those little Skeet's too.

I think I will bring a few wheelguns for those that don't get the opportunity to shoot them much. Sounds like I need to bring my AR as well. Tom, I will bring my shotgun if you will teach me to shoot skeet all over again. It has been twelve years!

OOPS! I didn't read the original thread close enough. I didn't see that date. I was thinking that this was this coming Saturday. We'll be in Austin at the inlaws for Easter.

Wife Unit and I got married on Tax Day...
Call it a humorous choice we made together for just such a reason...
While we are celebrating wedded bliss, we figured all the nice places would be open, with no waiting or "everything being booked up" kinda snags to anniversary activities...See what I mean???
We figure while we are gazing "longingly" into each others eyes, we can imagine and see a great many others running around all stresses out, trying to file those last minute tax returns etc etc etc...
Maybe its a sick humor, but it was her idea at first...I'm just guilty by association...

I’ll try and make it.
I don't have all the neat guns you guys have but if I make it I’ll bring my carry peace a SW1911SC I have about 800rds for that, and the SKS I have about 800rds for that too.
The only "neat" gun I can think of that I own is the T/C Omega Black powder. I can see if I can I bring that too if anyone wants to shoot it. I’ll need to pick up some powder and bullets but I think I have the rest of the stuff to shoot it its been a while since I’ve shot it, took an elk with it in 2004.
it will be nice to finaly put a face with a screen name.
if anyone else is bringing there SO, I’ll try and get my girlfriend out there too. She doesn’t mind the rifles so much as the pistols. Go figure that. Maybe seeing another woman shooter, we can have her shooting pistols and signing up for a CHL class by the end of the day.
