Hooked on Wheel Guns

I have a problem and I hope you guys can help. I recently received my CHL and I am having a tough issue. Seems like when I have the opportunity to carry I keep on leaning to my revolver. I know that it because of my clothing. If I am not wearing scrubs I am wearing shorts. My 357 magnum just always seem to feel great. I had aspirations of wearing my XD sub or my 1911, but with the way I dress, and when I am not working the wheel gun just makes good sense. I would rather carry a auto, but when it comes to concealment the revolver always seems to win. Does any other members of this forum share the same problem as me? Any info. or tips would be greatly appreciated.

No problem. I carry a 3" N frame, 4" N frame, 4" L frame and a 2.5" L frame all the time. I am a big round gun fan.

High Velocity, do you carry all of those at once?

I don't share the same problem, but I don't think it's weird. I feel you should carry what feels comfortable. My father carries a 30 year old 38 special because he is more comfortable with it than his full size Walther. The bottom line is, do you feel safe doing what you are doing?

If I did, my truck would look like it was riding on two wheels.

My Sunday carry is a 5 shot SP101 I do not feel under gunned or like I should carry my .45. Can cover it w/ an elbow if the grammaws decide they want a preacher hug.

I carry a 4" S&W Model 13 most of the time, and a Model 60 when I'm wearing shorts. I can't say that I've ever felt undergunned. Semi-autos just don't really do it for me.

I am about to go dinner with my semi-auto. We will see how it goes.

Your not the only one. My favorite gun is my Glock 26, but I seem to be carrying my S&W 640 the most. I usually pocket carry it, and that seems to be the most comfortable for me. I can't really pocket carry the Glock. It's funny how these things work out.
