Anyone own one of these? I'm thinking about adding one to my collection. I know some people are not fans, but I am accumulating guns I think are at most risk this election. That being said, people used to get one for 220.00 or so, but gunbroker often bids them over 600 bucks. Any idea? Anyone own one and have thoughts on the weapon?

Found this posted on Atlantic Firearms site under the Saiga 12 guage.
Please Note : We are sold out and do not expect more until April or May , this is due ot high demand and the Russians are not shipping complete orders into the US . We are not taking a waiting list or pre orders at this time ,please feel free to check back in April to see if the situation has improved.

This guy is buying all the Saigas and converting them.

I have a 20 ga. It goes bang every time, like most other AKs. But, I don't think you can beat a Remington 870.
Regards, OE
PS: I bought it several years ago when the were $189 new. "Hey look, an AK shotgun, wild huh?" It was one of those deals.

I own 5 (3 12ga, 1 20ga, 1 .410) -- bought them when they first came out. I have the hi-cap mags for the 12ga, paid $15 for them, now they are $50 or some crazy price. Now Tromix is buying them all up and installing a collapsible stock, calling them "Tactical" and selling them for $1200. Stupid.
As far as quality, If they are good enough for Russian Spetsnaz Spec-Ops, I will use it. Mine has never hiccuped with any load--even slugs. Saiga's AK's are some of the finest AK builds IMHO.
My advice is to buy all you can anything Saiga--AK and Shotgun--import problems galore.
