And a SigPro 2340 I am "thinking" of selling, to up the ante...I figure its worth about $400...

Whats should Steve do???

If I take the Sig out of the equation...I still got the $800...

Whoa is me...

Happy New Year!!!

Got a rifle? That kind of money will get you a decent one.

It's also enough money to do some decent training in the New Year.

That's how I'd spend the money anyway.

You'd consider selling a gun?!?!

Instead of going for a $1,200 super trick, I believe I'd take the $800 and get a Nitehawg.

I know, it sounds horrible...

But I'm a super-freak!

Its either that, or try to buy another gunsafe, and take all my wife's "valuable" crap, and make room for my "valuable" crap...

Either way...Its going to be an interesting month...

If you've got another reliable handgun, take the $1200 and get an M1A. If you don't have another reliable handgun, don't sell the SIG. If you don't have a reliable rifle, use the $800 to get a milled receiver AKM & a lot of 7.62X39. If you have a reliable rifle, but no other handgun but the SIG, take the $800 and try to find a Series 70 Colt 1911 at a gun show and build on it from there. My 2 cents.

I know I'm late, but is your wife type person still wanting a 1911? I couldn't think of a better way to spent $800 smackers.
