What will the threat look like?

Well the timing of this story is pretty good, at least in relation to our recent NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course.
As we discussed, many of us have preconceived notions as to how attackers likely will appear. Many envision a large male with joint tattoos, perhaps a minority, but certainly someone who appears menacing. Few if any folks would say a female between the ages of 17 and 22.
I’m sure there are many LEO’s who could share war stories about answering domestic dispute calls only to see the abused female mutate from battered victim to a biting, scratching, cursing hellcat, as soon as the cuffs went on “her man. Well, this is one for those of us who don’t have to answer those calls. Read this article from the Houston Chronicle's web site and like the line from Hill Street Blues, “let’s be careful out there.
Regards,
Chas.
