Show of Force??? (off-topic, maybe...)

I get slightly concerned when the ACLU gives a pass on things like this...

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2005/11/2 ... RPBO5.html

You know...I seem to remember the BATF thought that a "big show" at a little compound in Waco was a good thing to do as well...

Now they want to do random "show of force" drills to the public in that area...

Just to keep the terrorists off guard???

If they know there are terrorist in this country...Why don't we actively seek them out, instead of doing these "shows" to keep them off guard...I'd rather them not be off-guard, and either in custody, or preferably dead...

I saw this too. What kind of joke is this that in a city the size of Miami, they are going to deter terrorists by randomly showing up at places and asking for id? Not to mention that they are going to freak a lot of people out when swat rolls up and surrounds a building. I'm sure that will be real good for business.

Gee, I wonder if they'll come across any illegal aliens in their search for Tango's?

Can anyone say "uproar in the Miami Cuban Community"

Hey, wait a minute, this may not be such a bad idea after all... :patriot:

The Assistant Police Chief in Miami was on the news this morning...

"We are not going out and asking people for ID...We are looking for people who are suspicious."

I'm reminded of that scene in "Good Morning Vietnam"...

"Its hard to find Charlie...So we go up to people and ask them...Are you Charlie?"

"They're all named Nuygen, or Dap or Tongwong..."

"And if they say yes, My name is Charlie...Then we shoot them..."

Yea, I can see it all working out just fine:

Miami Police: "Excuse me sir, are you at Tango?"

Tango: "No Sir Infidel"

Miami Police: " Oh, OK, Have a good day..."
