eForm 4 wait times

#1

Post by Paladin »

These things are moving fast.

ATF Wait Times are getting to be almost decent.

Median wait for eForm 4 individual is now 4 days.

Median Wait for eForm 4 trust is only 54 days.

I can confirm that eForm 4 trust wait time. Next range trip will be a little quieter with a 30 cal can :coolgleamA:

I heard the same thing last time I was picking up at Grab A Gun. Those guys said it was taking "days" instead of weeks.

Yes, sometimes.

Other times it's taking well over a month or two.

There's no more rhyme or reason to the wait times than there is for anything else ATF does.

The wait time isn't as big an issue for me as the high prices of in-stock suppressors.

Ive submitted several form 4s and form 1s this year, none have taken over 7 days to approve.

We went from waiting on the ATF to waiting on inventory.

Wow! This is great. I wish I could afford another machine gun. My last one 20 years ago took 7 months for an individual form 4 with Sheriff's signature. I went over to SilencerCo and looked at their wait times and they were showing average 3 days for an individual form 4. I see absolutely no reason for a NFA Trust since they require responsible person photos and prints anyway and I already have a will and testamentary trust for my heirs. I also have an Series LLC I used for real estate investing and if I had some reason to have more than one owner of my NFA stuff I could create a new Series for NFA things.

Maybe its just a way to get the details of more people on their register more quickly so they know who to come after later, but then of course I am just an old cynic.
