AOL Poll:

PMSNBC Poll:

The AOL Poll is interesting in the fact that its a 70% to 30% in our favor, yet the second part of the poll...Well, you'll see...It kinda goes against the grain...

I have not done the PMSNBC poll yet...But I will...

I despise polls that state a reason, rather than just letting you choose agree/disagree.

For example, from MSNBC:

- Yes, those lawsuits threatened to cripple the industry

- No, victims, their families and local governments should be allowed to seek monetary claims

I voted yes, but not because I'm worried about the industry. I voted yes because I don't believe in seeking redress from someone who was not a party to the tort.

And look at the leading, illogical statement behind the "no" choice: it implies that victims, families, and local governments will be unable to seek monetary claims if the bill passes. Hogwash!

Always interesting to see how these polls go. In the real world they do not usually mean much because both sides rally their troops and tell them to go vote. Kind of like here :) But fun in any case.
