I love 1911’s and have several. I really like Dan Wesson’s, but I recently ended up with two Les Baer’s. Finally finished breaking in my LES BAER 1911 Custom Carry S/S 45ACP 5". I have been carrying it in vertical shoulder holster and it is very comfortable. Wore it all day at church yesterday with no issues. Below the target was at a little past 15 yards quick shots with two to the chest and one to the head. Timer was 3 set seconds.

You can’t see on the target but there are actually 8, 9, and an X ring. At 15 yards plus at an indoor range this target looks like a big black ball. It is really hard to decide where to hold the gun. Of course evil guys will not have a good X ring in red either.
