The female musher didn't carry a long gun because it could go off with the jostling of the sled? Oh really?

She was aware enough to carry a firearm because of animal problems. But in bear and moose country, she decided that a .380 was all she needed?

Sure, she emptied the whole .380 mag into the moose, but IT'S A .380!!

No word on what her "more substantial caliber" choice was.

My understanding is a Moose usually wins vs. a Car... Yes the Moose can get hit with a Car, total the car, and then the Moose just gets up and walks away. The Alaskan's I know carried much bigger "bear guns".
