It isn't out of choice. Broke the elbow of dominant arm playing football when I was young, and the arm won't fully straighten; ends up about 12 degrees from straight; I get almost two inches more reach from my non-dominant arm. Same reason I could never compete in power lifting: I can't do a legal bench press because I can't lock-out the arm. Doesn't bother me or limit me otherwise. It just makes me a Forever-Weaver.

Well that was the 80’s and I ran 180 gr JHP at 1350 FPS or so.
