Gunsmith in DFW

Does anyone know of a good gunsmith in the DFW area for revolvers. I would like to get my S&W Model 19 2.5” barrel revolver serviced. Having a few issues of concern.

I took my revolver to the range. I usually do not shoot 357 at the range as I use 38’s. Well I left my 38’s on the dresser and grab 357 hollow points. The range was out of 38’s. So I though I would would shoot about 12 rounds. After the first six the cylinder locked up pretty tight. I sprayed some Ballistol down into the cylinder and worked it in and it felt okay. I closed the cylinder and dry fired it for some it worked great.
Are those reloads? If so, the bullets may not be crimped enough.carlson1 wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 5:19 pmI took my revolver to the range. I usually do not shoot 357 at the range as I use 38’s. The next two rounds it locked up again. I did the above and finished up 6 rounds without any issues. Just would like someone to check it out.
You may just need to clean the yoke barrel, that term will make sense after you view the video. The cylinder yoke is easily removed. It's held in by one screw on the right side of the side plate just above the front of the trigger guard.. When that screw has been removed move the cylinder release forward and swing the cylinder out. While holding the cylinder in place remove the yoke by sliding it forward out of the frame until it clears the frame and then pull the yoke and cylinder away from the frame together. I am attaching the Youtube video below. The video is long, but the part of how to remove the yoke comes early i.e 10:57; the gunsmith deals with the yoke and cylinder assembly at 45:20. Hope this helps and maybe saves you some money.
Thank you. I will do that first thing tomorrow.puma guy wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 4:21 pmYou may just need to clean the yoke barrel, that term will make sense after you view the video.
