i have a High Noon Bare Asset IWB for my glock 19 and KT P-11. i really like them both. They are thin and comfortable, and have great retention for a level one holster. And the best part is they are inexpensive!!

im considering getting a highnoon for the EMP. right now it sits in an old uncle mike's holster i used to use with my g26, but the g26 stretch it out lol.

That totally depends on the user. Some questions include: What's your budget? Do you prefer IWB or OWB? Do you want metal clip or leather strap? Do you want it to be tuckable or not? Do you want to be a straight drop or FBI cant?

My job requires a suit and tie, which is why I went with tuckable. Because of my short torso and long legs, I went with FBI cant to aid in draw.

The Split Decision answered all my questions. With standard shipping, the total cost was little over $30. I have NO patience whatsoever, so luckily that have the Split Decision in stock and ready to ship. Your EMP should do fine with the Split Decision. If you really DON'T need the tuckable feature, the Bare Asset is the non-tuckable version. And, its in stock. I must warn you though, these specific holsters do not come with a leather body shield, meaning from the trigger up, that pistol is in full contact with your body. Also, the opening of the holster does not stay open when the pistol is drawn. Other than that, these holsters are GREAT for the price. Another thing I must mention, this holster was so great with the Fullsize 1911 that I could sometimes fall asleep and forgot that the pistol was there.

Here's my question, how are you liking the EMP. Every time I see that pistol at a range, I have heard the owner complain about jamming issues.

so far i've put about 200 rnds through my pistol, 100 being FMJ and the rest being JHP. The ONLY problem i had was before i even went to the range. the first round would get smushed against the feed ramp. didnt matter how i chamber it, sling shot or slide stop lever, the first round would get smushed (with JHP), when i went to the range, however, i did not have one single problem. FMJ and JHP went through it like a hot knife through butter. and the gun made me look like a better shot then i actually was, cell phone sized groups at 10 yards.

when i got back home, and after a nice clean and oil, same problem as before, first rnd (JHP) would kiss the feed ramp and get stuck. so i seaked advise on the m1911 forum, didnt get much, so decided to pull out the trusty dremmel and polish fluid, went to town on the feed ramp. that really fixed the problem up, i loaded up 3 mags with JHP and racked all of them without a problem, even did slow sling shots where i rode the slide forward and all went well.

so to answer your question, i love my EMP. lol. but through personal exp. most people who complain about jams on a 3inch 1911 is caused by user error (limp wristing)

I agree on limp wristing being a factor. One time there was a kid having "problems" with his Kimber Ultra-Carry (FINE weapon, BTW), he was having stove-pipes. I asked if I could fire a couple of rounds. I was shooting just fine. I then asked him to shoot my SIG P229 in single action (which never jammed ONCE since the day I bought it). It stove-piped with him three out of four rounds. He then says, "oh, you're having the same problem with your pistol?" I said, "WHAT? No!" I told him, "what are the chances of two pistols, one you never fired before, jamming up on you back to back. Its not your pistol or mine. Its you". I spent a good half hour with him on his grip and stance. At the end, he was shooting 3" groups at 10 yards, MUCH better then me!

I just got a new "go anywhere" gun, a North American Arms Pug with the Trijicon tritium sight.
It's a stainless steel, five-shot, .22 Magnum.

I've been wanting an NAA Guardian (their little semi-auto) for a couple years. I haven't paid that much attention to their mini-revolvers. I just thought they were "cute," but didn't take them seriously. I'd fondled this NAA Pug a while back. Thought it was kinda cool. Was impressed with how it disappeared into my front pocket.

I woke up in the wee hours yesterday morning and thought, "If she still has that Pug, I'm going to buy it today." So I did. This was in New Mexico, so I had to wait for her to transfer it to an FFL in Texas. That took place yesterday afternoon while I was at work. I went and picked it up this morning.

I haven't shot it yet, but here are some pics.

I just bought a Galco Summer Comfort IWB holster for my USP Compact. It arrived on Thursday, and I've been wearing it daily ever since, including to the Irish Festival in downtown Dallas today. It's more comfortable than either the Fobus OWB I bought previously for it, or the custom made kydex IWB I had made for my Sig 1911.
