I did it AGAIN! Sorry Russ! I will be more careful and not impersonate you. Again the above post by Middle Age Russ was made by his embarrassed spouse, Divided Attention and do not reflect the opinions of himself or the management.

I believe him! Don't you? :leaving
I have no reason not to believe him. ;-)

Yep, you know those guns. The hide in the bushes and when they see a kid walking by, run out and jump into their backpack! Then they fire when they're dropped so they can try to kill kids, those evil, evil objects. They must have been forged in the fires of Mt Doom, deep in Mordor by Sauron himself. (I reread the lord of the rings last week, my apologies)
the son does not live with the father, so the father not knowing how he got the gun is plausable, :tiphat:

So, where is the mother during all this? Did not see anything about her. Was it her gun? Sound like details we will never hear about.

Later,
Art S. :anamatedbanana
Did you learn something new today and did you smile? if not, why?

Have a Great One,

Middle Age Russ wrote:Saw report on ABC13 this AM where they interview classmates. One said they were all looking at it and it started to fall and the kid tried to catch it and he "shot the girl". Doesn't sound like impact caused it, more like booger-hook misplacement. :banghead:

Sad and scarey.

Trust me WildBill. The school nurse and/or admin would call ambulances for something like this without blinking an eye. While the district may be "immune to lawsuit", the individuals involved are not. Scarey world.! :banghead:
Now we are getting some more facts. Middle Age Russ - I do trust you that they would do this. :tiphat:

:iagree:
News Update:
Gun was Keltec 9mm, so either a P11 or PF9 (heavy DA trigger pull IMHO; modem weapon with drop safety, kid had to have pulled the trigger)
Owned by a "friend of the family"

I don't understand. Aren't there both federal and state law against bringing a gun to school? How did it get there if both law are in effect?
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

Defective signs?
The gun-free signs at the local schools here do not have a picture of a Beretta on them; perhaps they are defective signs and need pictures .... oh wait, that was a KelTec ... never mind.

It was reported that KN toddler, was showing off his pistol and tried to rack and make ready and squeezed the trigger just to keep a grip.
