Well it sure was a great gun show today. Made it home with a long time want and one good deal.

The long time want, a S&W Model 10-7...

And the good deal, a Winchester 1200 pump gun...

Bought each gun from a different dealer, and I'll be danged if both weren't from the small town of Lufkin, TX. The Model 10 came from Owen Preston Allen Guns, the Winchester came from Lufkin Army & Navy Store. Some pretty good fella's you got up there, Longtooth!

Bachman always has the Lowest prices everytime I've been there. In fact They had the XD sub-compacts for 419 AJC was 429 the others were around 439. Thats two hows now that My friends or my self have bought from Bachmans.

LCP's were over priced. Only saw one under the suggested retail price.

I left empty handed. :cryin
Wanted a Colt or Springfield M1911 in plain old vanilla A1 configuration and darned if I could find one at a reasonable price.
AR's all over the place. They must really be selling like crazy.
Some of the used guns I saw were quite ridiculously priced.
Also was looking for a Mossberg M590A1 and never even saw an M590!

Went there today...Looking for Makarov mags and 7.62 Nagant ammo, and maybe a TT-33. I found Mak magazines, but everyone wanted $30 for them. Wonder of wonders, someone actually had the ammo I was after, and for a decent price. I didn't see a single TT-30 or TT-33 though...

I went there Saturday. Picked up an XD40 for $419 from Bachman, and a Taurus PT1911SS for 589 from Schramms. I wanted to stay longer, but my 10month old was tired, cranky, and screaming alot... Hopefully I can get them up to Shiloh and shoot them soon!

EDIT: I opted to get one without nightsights on the XD40, only because I intend this to be another carry gun, and I want different color nightsights (The only ones I saw with nightsights were green in the front and green in the back).

The show wasn't too bad. Lot of vendors will starting to pack up somewhat early on Sunday, mainly because there was no business going on. Went with my father, he picked up a Colt Diamondback. I was thinking about dumping off my Sig 556 for something I acctually shoot, but they seem to have dropped quite a bit since I bought it. Guess it'll sit for a while if no one picks it up off Gunbroker
