You are right about bullet holes. Besides your gonna shoot til they go down, so does it really matter whether it's a 9mm, .380 ,.38, .40, or .45?

Have you looked at the Sig P238? It's very similar to the old Colt Mustang series of .380s with some new features. I am looking at one for me or my wife, whoever get's a handle on it first.

My advise is worth what you paid for it but, here goes. Get a .38 snubby everybody should have one or two of them. Great backup guns and great all the time guns. The manual of arms is "point, shoot, repeat as necessary" I carry my snubby everywhere except for posted locations I can't avoid. It's very comforting to know I have a handful of felon repellent discretely handy.
