I have the full sized Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm (also the .40 and .45) and just bought the subcompact 9mm.

It has caused a real problem in my previously settled carry life because the full-sized pistols now feel gigantic. I haven't carried a full-sized pistol in a month. I was very happy with them before. The subcompact is so much smaller, and still packs 13 rounds. Some velocity loss in the 3" barrel of the subcompact over the 4" barrel of the full-size, but I've rationalized that away due to the sheer pleasure of carrying the little one.

I sure hope the new wears off. Otherwise I'm going to have a lot of pistols for sale.

Sold my few Glock 17 and couple of Glock 17-L ones because I am better with my 19 and 26, but at home they have 20 round mags in them (Glock 17 mags with Pearce +3 PG-39 extensions, [which are smaller than Factory Glock +2 extensions])

But yeah, my 19 and 26 both have Advantage Tactical Sights and Lasers, sometimes I only carry my 26 with 15 rounds (a glock 19 mag with mag spacer, and sometimes with 13 rounds (Glock 26 mag with +3 spacer) ... but at home both have 20 +1 chambered,.... plus... several 33 round mags scattered throughout the house...
I almost excluded Glock owners from the post. Not to be a Glock hater or anything. But many Glock owners have mulitple models and we know how similar the models are.
It is the "similarity" and same sights/similarly equipped that is the advantage of having Full and compact, little to no adjustment after awaking in the middle of the night half asleep and thinking ... "do I need to sweep the safety lever off, or lets see, is the green or red the front sight, or do I just line them up ...

So, mine all get the triangular colored all lighting situation Advantage Tactical Sights and lasers etc.

-----------------
I used to have a home/carry setup of a PT-92 and PT-58, which are similar in how they work, similar grip angle etc etc ... but different calibers, which was a disadvantage

Also had a Colt Mustang, but didn't get a 1911, I sold the Mustang, and ...different calibers, which was a disadvantage

The Sig P250 2-Sum is very popular as it utilizes the same trigger module in both handguns so it will be the exact same trigger pull in both the full size and sub-compact models. We sell a good amount of these and the customers have given them great reviews

With a hanger like "SpringerFan", it probably won't shock anyone that I have a XDM40 and a XDSC40.

I love Springfield's 1911s also. As a company, they can do no wrong in my book. Kind of like Hondas, not the most fancy, but affordable and reliable.
