0.91 inches for the slide/frame. 1.04 inches if you include the slide-stop release lever and take-down levers in your calculations. Basically the whole gun is less than one inch, except the slight 1/10th of an inch protrusion of the slide stop lever.

Their marketing is no gimmick, the PPS is THIN.

I've had a PPS 9mm for about 6-7 months now and have had 0 failure to fires or other issues. When I go to the range I typically put about 3-400 rounds through it. I'd estimate I have about 1500ish rounds through it right now and have been quite pleased.

I've put a variety of ammo through it including wolf, CCC Ammo reloads, and the normal name brand range ammo.

The only gripe I have is just cosmetic related to the way the magazine fits with the grip...

the length is slightly longer than I would like esp for trying to pull off a pocket carry in khaki's

edit: My other main gripe is that there's no 2nd strike capability - I haven't even had cause to use it, but for a carry pistol I would very much like this.

Have you tried the 6-round mag? Mine pocket carries better than I thought it would as long as I use the flush-mount 6-round mag. Not nearly as nice a pocket carry as my LCP or J-frame (obviously), but in a pinch, it works.

If this helps any, I've been very pleased w. my PPS in 9mm. Have shot at least 1k rounds through it. Everyone I've handed it off to for test drives has been very pleasantly surprised, and impressed with how nicely it shoots.
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal
