On behalf of the esteemed members of this forum (and the other guys as well), I thank you for the enlightenment and the shared experience. I have learned through my many years that it's always better to learn from the experience of others than to endure the consequences of the same mistakes.

I guess I'd best get busy now packing up my reloading equipment (wonder if Good Will will take it?), and safely discarding my primers and powder. Could be awhile. Be sure to watch the "Free" section of Craig's List for some really good stuff now that we all understand that reloads are hazardous to handguns.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for an entertaining post.
To save all of my freinds here the pain from impending injury, I will gladly take all reloaded ammo and properly dispose of it for you. Reloaders as well. I won't even charge for this action. Just send it all to me and it will be disposed of in a timely fasion  "rlol"

Almost the same wisdom I got from the mechanics at Honda Dealership Service department.

he's telling me that i need to change my timing belt because over the time, mostly due to the heat in Houston, it dries out the moisture in the belt. Apparently once it's too dry, it starts to crack and break.

Unfortunately I did study polymer chemistry quite a bit. Timing belt is made of rubber (polymer) mostly, which loses its original elasticity and strength through two ways: degradation (a series of chemical reactions mostly with oxygen) and physical stress (pulling and releasing). Moisture level in this kind of materials must be controlled at extremely low level. If not, it would help the belt lose its properties even faster!

I had to bite my tongue not to laugh or correct him.
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.
