Hi everyone ;-)
I live in the Texas City area. Took my CHL class December of this year 2009. Had a great instructor. He told me to come here often (I do) Learned a lot in class, learning more here.
Female, born - 11-18-42 Like to collect guns and shoot them. Married w/ 2 daughters and 2 sons. We have 8 dogs (this keeps me busy) 2 German Shepherds, 6 Min-Pins. (look like dobermans for those who don't know what a Min-Pin is.) We live on a dead end street with horse pastures on 1 side, woods on 2 sides and 100 ft. seperating us from a main road with other houses. (so no neighbors complaining about my dogs :woohoo ). I have a Bersa Thunder, Ruger 9mm, 38 s/w police special, 38 snub nose, Ruger 22LR Target pistol, a 25 auto and a 22 Remington rifle. My Daddy taught me to shoot, but my CHL instructor taught me when to shoot and how to protect myself. I don't expect to be packing heat all the time but at least with my CHL I can carry if I want to. :fire

Welcome to the forum. I don't suppose your instructor's name is Tom?
