LOL thanks. :cheers2:

Strange though, I made that post around 1230 this morning while I was up on a late night call for work with tomorrow meaning Wednesday.

EDIT: yeah I see it now, the board time is an hour off. I just checked my settings and see that DST was off, whooops.

Now its right, sorry!

Hi...I'm new to this site and glad that all of you are here. I'm also new to Texas. I'm a young married artist. I just moved here from the east coast and am glad to be in a land that I can own fire arms again without a huge hassle.I will be looking foreward to many great discussions!

My M1A is still fitted w/ the battle sites. My short range hunter. Love it & the discussions it stimulates in camp.

Good Morning!
I'm a male, retired Texas school teacher/administrator, 61 yrs. old with a wonderful wife and two wonderful daughters (and I'm about to be a grandfather). We live out here in the sticks about 80 miles West of Austin (older daughter lives on Joe Pool Lake, DFW). I've had my CHL since they were first available (1995?). I have enjoyed reading the posts in the forum and the few contacts I've made here. Thanks for lettin' me participate. Best to all. :tiphat:

I am prolly introducing myself a tad bit late. But better late then never.

I am 30 y.o. Male, that works as an EMT for a private EMS company. I currently married for the past two years and both recently took a CHL class with Tom Estep, so we are playing the waiting game. We both enjoy shooting 1911's, she has a Kimber Pro Carry II and I carry a Colt Lightweight Commander. We try to get out to the range (PSC) at least once a month to fire off a box of rounds or two. I am also trying to get involved into tactical shooting comps but failing at that fairly hard, rifle builds can take time and $$! But in a nutshell I have clone of m40a3.

Thanks for your time,
drake

I'm a 61 year old male engineer who lives in Missouri City. I've had a CHL since 1988 (Florida) and have had them in NV, SC, and now Texas where I just renewed. My carry guns have been a Kimber CDP Pro and a Kahr PM9 (deep cover when required). However, I've come to appreciate Glocks and have started carrying a 19. If you shoot at PSC early on Sundays you find me on Range 2 practicing.

About me:
I recently moved to Dallas with my wife and best friend of 17+ years and our four kids.I am truly blessed with the best kids. I
am not a Texas native {my wife is though!} but I got here as soon as I could. We moved here in Feb. 08' from Washington State and never looked back! I belong to the NRA,LEAA,FOP and others

I am a talk radio junkie.Mostly conservative talk but Air America is "entertaining" sometimes.I hate commercials.Think God for Tivo and XM.I spend as much time as possible with family and friends.I hope to travel around the great state of Texas and see the attractions they have to offer.
I have had a CCW for 10+years and am an active shooter and hunter.I do not have a TX CHL as I have them from 4 other states that cover me in about 30+.I got those so I can do my job in as many places as possible.I will be volunteering as a reserve officer hopefully by the first of the year. This will help me pick up work in NYC,Vegas and Chicago.I believe an armed society is a polite society and any law abiding citizen should be able to own ANY type of weapon and have the right to use your CCW/CHL to carry ANYWHERE,ANYTIME!
I am interested in helping and being involved any way possible on the local and state level to further the right granted us by God and guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. :patriot:

Greetings people,

I'm Mark F, a 57 year old and a genuine "NATIVE" Texan. Born & raised in Dallas. Married, one grandchild (so far). I moved to Bedford TX about 18 years ago. I am a CHL holder and I carry a Keltec P3AT in my pocket. I also keep a CZ-75B 40 S&W close at hand. My wife commutes to Dallas for her job, and she is seriously considering getting her CHL, since she works (mostly alone) in an office in a "less favorable" part of Dallas. I hope she doesn't wait too long...
