XD 45 Mod 2 is my carry gun. I have a crimson trace rail master green laser mounted.

I do have a CZ P07 in 9mm as alternate if needed.

My Glock 30 Gen 3 is my alternate carry gun (my #2) gun. I usually leave it in my belly band and use it when I walk my dog in the mornings. I've considered putting my light on it but would have to modify my belly band to do that, which would probably be worth it. I really like having all Glocks because there is a comfort in the triggers feeling the same. I have a Ruger LC9S Pro which I think has a smoother trigger but I don't shoot it as well so in spends more time in the safe. I will be venturing into the land of 1911s this year though. It was the first pistol I ever became proficient with and I always liked them.

Edit: Pondering a Shield in .45 right now too, simply because of the price.
S&W is now offering a $75 mail in rebate for all Shields. That pushed me over the edge so I just purchased a shield 45 off of gunbroker.

After mail in rebate, my total cost will be less than $300 including ship and FFL. :coolgleamA:

You won't regret the shield 45 I promise! I carry a backup mag also in a desantis mag packer front pocket holster and also in a blue force gear horizontal carrier.

I paid 389$ for my shield 45 so not too bad! I wish I would have gotten the rebate!

I am beyond upset that I sold my GC. I figured it was too pretty for me, despite my desire to just carry and shoot the day lights out of it. I regret selling it! :banghead:
I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't think I'd ever sell my Glock .40's, but then along came the .45's. I can't imagine what it would take for me to sell my GC. I'm fully intending on passing this down to my daughter and I think she is also.
