Now that I think of it, both my Sigs - GSR and P238 - are factory refurbs.
Both have been 100% and very accurate since I've owned them.

Re: Sig 1911's
Mine looks exactly like the one in your link. There are some pictures that show some with a stainless thumb safety and slide stop; mine does not have those. I’ll try to take some pics this weekend and post.68Charger wrote:I'm jealous, Sir. You want to send me some pics of it? I've only seen pictures on the net, never actually seen a 'real' one that's owned by someone.
Thanks, mate.
Now back to the thread... ;p

Re: Sig 1911's
Most Sig 1911s have a Sig style slide assembly which can cause some holster fitment issues (depending on the holster). For the 100th anniversary Sig introduced some models with a more traditional style slide. The main difference between the Sig traditional models and a standard 1911 is the extractor, Sig refuses to use anything other than an external extractor. With that said Sig does produce some good guns and I carry a P238 as a BUG every day, and I have no fear of their products working. I will say that if you do get a lemon sig will take care of you and get your gun working because with today's communications the last thing they want is a customer who can say "Sig makes junk, and here's the proof in this gun here..."
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
