Several people are having fail to feed problems with the new Beretta PX4 Compact pistol. Beretta has found that after the initial batch of perfect recoil springs, all made since have had way too much tension. Go to website listed below to see if you need to order an enhanced performance kit that will resolve this problem.

Update - It appears the new recoil spring has corrected the feeding problems.

Looks like they're going to start with the .40 this year. May have to call them and see when.

I'm taking my time about this.

My decision just got harder...:
They have been announcing that for over a year. Is it actually in production?
I got off the phone with Beretta USA, and the PX4 compact in .40 will be out in the 3rd quarter of this year.

So, just a few more months.

Maybe I'll have my wife talked into it by then.

I also have a PX4 SC. Good shooting gun, no malfunction in about 400 rounds so far. Accurate and soft recoil though does not quite match my Sig P229R in absorbing recoil and accuracy. I highly recommend it though. As others have said, Beretta and reliability go hand in hand. This is my 3rd Beretta.
