Two weeks ago now

We were supposed to go yesterday but the rain kept us away.

Just to make things worse I even have a new 'toy' to play with. My Advantage Arms conversion kit for the G30 came in last week and hasn't been exercised yet :grumble

It's been 8 days since my last range outing. My goal is to go at least twice a month. When I go I generally I try to put 50 - 100 rnds thru each of my weapons. I'm pretty blessed in that my wife is supportive of me taking the time to do this. When you've got 4 kids there is always something going on. One challenge is the hours of most indoor ranges. I'd love to be able to shoot after the kids go to bed, but most ranges that I visit are closed by 7:00pm.

I'm so out of practice with my carry gun I'm probably going to borrow a 9MM Glock to do my commission qualification next month... I'm not a horrible shot but that loooong Beretta DAO trigger pull kills me at anything over 20' :banghead:

Too long! Middle from October, I think.

Same exuses, church, family, holidays and cold weather... And I live close within 2 miles of an indoor range in Duncanville and work within 4 miles of DFW Gun Range in Dallas.

How long - 2 weeks. I usually try to go to the range twice per month; lately I have been limiting myself to one box of 50 cartridges per session due to the ammo shortage.

I went Thursday to TOPGUN range in Houston. 150rds of 9mm through two new (to me) pistols. I try at least go twice a month and practice. I shoot recreation-ally once a month. I don't consider plinking crap in the country with a few buddies practicing honestly. I never shoot well and there is always a ton of distractions so that is not practice in my eyes.

Just after Thanksgiving.

Weather has mostly been too cold/windy/rainy when I've had time since then.

Now I'm waiting for recuperation from surgery to proceed a bit further before I try again.

It's been a week. During duck hunting season which runs from Nov thru Jan I got out at least once a week to blast ducks and usually bring one of my handguns along to keep tuned. I will slack off now that the season has ended. Maybe once a month.

It's been about a month for me. I go to the Garland Gun Range which is an outdoor range so the weather affects when I can go. But on the plus side my boss shoots so I just tell him we need to go to the range at lunch and pratice and he is onboard with that. So those long lunches don't look so bad.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but wanted to pop in and say that it's nice to see you back on forum, LarryH. :thumbs2:
