Re: Best Pocket Gun
Well, I made my choice. I bought a NAA Guardian .380 this morning at Carter's Country in Houston for $449.00. I liked the all SS construction and the workmanship looks real good. I didn't know that Kahr makes the slides and frame for this gun. Haven't fired it yet - looking for ammo. I found some .380 at Top Gun Shooting Range for $23.00 a box. Seems a bit high for .380; but I'm new to the .380 crowd and maybe that's normal.

Re: Best Pocket Gun
.380 is currently practically extinct nationwide, as far as I know. $23 for a box of 50 is excessive, but when it comes to .380, it's a seller's market.

My twocents. A true pocket is one that can be fire from the pocket. So, any auto will jam after one shot. I like the Bond Arm Snake Charmer in .45LC/410. This weapon has the option of changing the barrel to over 14 Caliber with no special tools. It is make in Texas
The only down side is two shot... But at 4 ft is there going to be more than two.
The numbers are:]
Barrel: 3 1/2 "
Weight: 22 oz.
Length: 5 1/2 "
Stocks: Extended Custom Rosewood
Sights: Bladefront and Fixed Rear
Features: • 3 1/2" barrel
• Interchangeable Barrels
• Automatic Extractor
••••(EXCEPT FOR 9mm,40S&W,10mm and .45 ACP)
• Rebounding Hammer
• Retracting Firing Pins
• Crossbolt Safety
• Spring-Loaded Cammed Locking Lever
••••(for a tighter barrel/frame fit and Rapid loading and unloading)
• Trigger guard
• Stainless Steel with Satin Polish Finish
Calibers: .410/45LC or .22rl (I pratice with 22lr at the range) , 38special, 357 mag, 45 acp, many otthers

Re: Best Pocket Gun
I used to have an American Derringer .45long colt/410. It was the most inaccurate gun I have ever owned. I swear that .45 bullet came out of the barrel at a 30 degree angle. At ten feet the you would be perfectly safe standing directly in front of the gun!

The Bond Arms in 45 long Colt at 3 yard has group of 4 inch. The 410 in OOO is about a 4 inch group per shot. The .22 lr barrel is great to practice
hand movement control. The Snake Charmer is a BUG. My other weopons is a CZ 97b .45 ACP.
